“We moved from northwestern Pennsylvania to Stuart in 2005. Since that time we have come to love Martin County and the high quality of life that it provides. We appreciate the value that a hospital like Martin Health brings to a community. It’s not just a wonderful hospital with top talent, but they still have the “small town” feel. When Jenn was pregnant with Avery we were in and out of the hospital with pre-term labor for quite some time and each time the staff was fantastic and understanding.
While we do not have the wealth level to afford large scale philanthropy, we do have the ability to help should something happen to us. The concept of legacy is also important to us. As a financial advisor and planner, I feel that the hospital has something for everyone and there is a way for everyone to help keep it best in class. Because we are young and healthy, life insurance is relatively inexpensive. We felt we could afford to buy a little more and include the hospital as part of those proceeds should the unthinkable happen. Martin Health is our community hospital, and we wanted to help build and sustain world class healthcare for our family, friends and neighbors”.
